Explosion-Proof and Flame Proof Elevators and Lifts

This type of elevator category can become quite complex. Understanding the conformance standards and the standard to which equipment must conform, our technical division is knowledgeable and experienced and has performed numerous upgrades on explosion-proof facilities.

Explosion-proof elevators and elevator equipment are designed on the design principle and security aspects of strict implementation of national standards to fully meet the needs of industries where explosive gas, vapour, or dust atmospheres may form. Installations must be equipped with explosion-protected electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment in these hazardous areas.

Explosion-proof equipment would be utilized in industries like oil refineries, petrol refineries, chemical industry, gas refineries, fertilizer factories, spicery, essence,
pharmaceuticals, paint and ink, industry, propellent factory, and warehouses are examples of industries where flammable and explosive liquid, gas or dust are present.

If you operate in a high-risk environment, you need to understand the importance of equipment that is not only reliable but certified to be utilized in these environments. For all areas at risk of explosion, be it chemical (gas), flour mills (dust) or other, install equipment rated for explosion-proof lifts for hazardous areas. These lifts utilise a unique and safe control circuit, designed especially for high-risk situations using components that will not spark or react with the surrounding area.

IP Protection Elevators

IP protection elevator is mainly used in commercial and industrial facilities where a specific level of ingress protection must be obtained and maintained. Various main components adopt high IP protection levels, guaranteeing the security and reliability of usage.

Various main components adopt high IP protection levels, guaranteeing safety and reliability in usage. This elevator uses a permanent magnet plus driving force with frequency variance, ensuring comfort in the operation of the elevator. The 32-digit computer system, CAN bus signal transmission and anti-disturbance solid performance can apply to various working conditions.

What does IP Rating mean?
Ingress Protection rating (or IP rating) is an international standard (IEC 60529) used to rate the degree of protection or sealing effectiveness in electrical enclosures against the intrusion of objects, water, dust or accidental contact. It corresponds to the European standard EN 60529. The IP code always consists of the letters IP (Ingress Protection) followed by two digits and an optional letter. The two digits and the last letter indicate the classified protection level of conformance.

Our technical department fully understands the conformance standards of the various IP ratings and has assisted numerous clients in various industries in obtaining the correct IP classification standard on their vertical transportation systems.
