Our Services: Covers all types of lifts, elevators, and escalators.
As an independent service provider, we are not restricted to a specific brand, supplier, or manufacturer. However our services apply to all types of lifts, elevators and escalators. We install, maintain, repair and modernise our open platform (Non-proprietary Equipment) elevator and escalator systems. But our technicians are also highly skilled and have a thorough knowledge base and experience in maintaining, repairing, and upgrading (Proprietary Equipment) from Original Equipment Manufacturers(OEM) and Equipment of all drive types and vintages across every possible building type.
These OEMs (Proprietary Equipment) like Schindler, Otis, Kone, Mitsubishi, ThyssenKrupp, Sabiem, Fujitsu, and Kleemann but are not limited to only these brand names.
SUPPORT
Our support services include the following:
24/7/365 Call out
We provide our current clients in our portfolio with a dedicated number to our call centre, available 24/7 to assist with occupied stops and breakdowns. This service is available during working hours and after hours, including Saturdays, Sundays, and Public holidays.
Spare Parts
To improve our efficiency when repairs are required, we carry a substantial inventory of spare parts for our non-proprietary lift and escalator equipment and spares for all the OEMs. Considering the magnitude of parts and equipment of the different OEMs, it would be impossible to stock every part; however, if we do not have a replacement part in stock, we will source it without any delay from our network of suppliers.
Guarantees and Warranties
We offer our clients high-quality vertical transportation systems, products, and parts through our strict global sourcing criteria. For new elevators and escalators, we obtain a technical dossier and certification guaranteeing a high degree of quality, functionality and reliability, as well as ensuring the equipment carries a CE marking indicating that the product meets specific statutory safety, health, and environmental standards criteria.
Whether we perform a new installation, execute an upgrade, or conduct repairs, we guarantee our workmanship for one year, which is the acceptable standard in the elevator and escalator industry.
The suppliers issue us with a manufacturer’s guarantee on equipment for a minimum of one year; however, most suppliers have an extended guaranteed policy which we pass on to the client. There are even manufacturers that offer a 5-year guarantee; see Aritco’s five-year warranty, our partner that manufactures exceptional quality residential and commercial platform lifts.
Compliance
Safety is not negotiable when passengers use our elevators and escalators; therefore, we will not deviate from complying with set regulations and standards.
Compliance means more than just obeying rules and regulations. Compliance is a question of mindset: reliability, honesty, credibility, and integrity are part of our values; therefore, we will not enter into an agreement if it means we need to break safety regulations, which will jeopardise the safety of our lift users and our technicians that maintain or repair the equipment.

Inspections and Testing
The Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHS Act) requires a registered lift inspector to inspect all elevator and escalator systems.
- Every 24 months.
- New service providers have been appointed.
- An upgrade has been performed.
Elevator and escalator owners can use an Independent Lift Inspector of their choice. Or, we can assist by appointing an Independent Lift Inspector on your behalf, the client.
On inspection, the independent lift inspector will issue the relevant Annexure that verifies the unit is safe for use and meets the required standards set out in the OHS Act.
- Annexure B for Passenger Elevators
- Annexure K for Goods Lifts
- Annexure E for Platform Lifts
In the event of non-conformances, the inspector will list all the non-conformances on the relevant Annexure. Whereby the elevator or escalator owner has 60 days to rectify the noted non-conformances. The inspector will issue an Annexure reflecting a clean bill of health.
Pricing
While our goal is always to provide the client with high-quality services at an affordable price, choosing a company based on pricing alone shouldn’t be the only deciding factor.
Some service providers in our industry offer incredible cost-friendly services. These offers are often offset by cost-cutting shortcuts that only delay problems instead of solving them. When you work with Utility Elevators, you can count on receiving the highest-quality service for all your elevator, lift or escalator requirements; we will also endeavour to provide you with the best possible rates.
Imports and Logistics
We will appoint a reputable logistics service provider to handle the complete import when importing elevators and elevator equipment, whether sea freight or airfreight.
These service providers have an extensive network of offices all over the world. They provide end-to-end solutions based on their know-how, infrastructure, processes, and information systems that ensure operational excellence.
Furthermore, in a global economy where customs clearance is a complex and ever-changing landscape of rules and regulations, with a magnitude of required paperwork, they will assist with this complex task. They will also entire local freight transportation process to the point where your equipment is delivered to your door.
